Ceiling Was Not Cracked

Donald J. Trump wins the 2016 Presidential election leaving the glass ceiling still unbroken.

In  one of the most shocking US Elections in modern political history, Donald Trump has defeated Hillary Clinton despite her winning the popular vote.  In his address to America, Trump pledged to every citizen to be a President for all Americans.

This defeat to Trump ended Hillary Clinton’s historic presidential campaign.  If she had won, she would have been the first female President of the United States.  In her concession speech, Clinton said that the Constitution requires a peaceful transfer of power.

Furthermore, she said, “I know we have still not shattered that highest and hardest glass ceiling, but someday, someone will, and hopefully sooner than we might think right now.”
